Tyent ACE | Countertop Water Ionizer with up to 13 Hybrid Plates

The Tyent ACE is a freestanding countertop water ionizer that sets a high standard for its class: a pH range of 1.7 to 12.5, ORP down to –1150 and more than 1.8 ppm of molecular hydrogen. A brushed stainless steel front and clean lines make it a natural fit for a high-end kitchen, and it needs no plumbing work to install.

A 4-inch color touchscreen, a flow sensor that responds to motion and an automatic cleaning cycle you can tune make it easy to live with, while two front-loading filters keep maintenance simple and remove contaminants without stripping out the minerals.

Solid/Mesh Hybrid plates

Ionizer plates are usually either solid or mesh. Tyent's engineers combined the two: the Solid/Mesh Hybrid plate is as durable as a solid plate and offers the large surface area of a mesh plate, so far more surface is available for electrolysis.

The ACE-13 uses thirteen of these medical-grade titanium plates, dipped in platinum several times for extra strength. Tyent describes them as the longest and thickest plates on the market, they distribute the current for maximum conductivity, and they will not break, crumble or leach. According to Tyent, no other ionizer maker in the US uses this hybrid design.

Hydrogen Boost

Hydrogen Boost takes the ACE from 11 to 13 plates. Tyent quotes 27% more power, 25% more molecular hydrogen, about 20% better ORP and the wider 1.7 to 12.5 pH range, along with smoother-tasting water.

Ultra Filtration

Ultra Filtration adds a 0.01 micron filter for an extra level of purity. Tyent states it removes up to 99% of more than 200 contaminants, among them chlorine, sediment, VOCs and heavy metals, along with agricultural chemicals and microscopic particles.

One machine, several kinds of water

Three alkaline levels and purified water cover drinking and cooking. The acidic levels make rinse water and cover the other uses described in the manual that do not involve drinking, and Turbo mode makes strong alkaline water (pH 10 to 12) for cleaning and strong acidic water (pH 2.5 to 3.5) for disinfecting, without added chemicals. Tyent reports 99.9% antibacterial and disinfection power for Turbo water, tested by KTL. Never drink acidic or Turbo water.

Because the ionizer makes water on demand at your tap, it also cuts out plastic bottle waste.

Built-in safety functions

• Automatic stop: water flow halts before it can overflow or flood, and you can carry on right away once it has shut off.
• Temperature sensor: blocks hot water from entering the unit by accident.
• Source water detection: halts operation if there is no supply water, which protects the ionizer and avoids leaks.
• Filter door detection: the water supply pauses while the filter door is open.

Dual filtration that keeps the minerals

Two filters treat the water before it is ionized. One uses activated adsorption to remove chlorine, agricultural chemicals, detergents, VOCs and larger suspended matter such as rust and sediment. The other has a fine membrane that filters out contaminants, including ordinary bacteria, while the essential minerals stay in, which also improves taste and removes odors.

Both filters load from the front behind an opening door, so replacing them takes only a moment.
