Description
The Crystal Quest commercial mid-flow reverse osmosis system makes 500 to 7,000 GPD of purified water on a compact, powder-coated aluminum frame. Choose the output, a brass or stainless steel pump, and whether you want a storage tank kit of 165, 220 or 500 gallons added.

What comes standard on the mid-flow RO
- Frame: aluminum with a white powder coat; lightweight and resists corrosion.
- Membrane housing: stainless steel, holding TFC membranes for high flow and maximum rejection of impurities.
- High-pressure pump: brass rotary vane, designed to run continuously, with built-in protection if feed water is lost.
- Motor: high-efficiency carbonate motor.
- Concentrate valve: SWP 316 stainless steel, to balance permeate against concentrate.
- Flow meter: SWP, showing permeate and concentrate flow.
- Pre-filter gauge: SWP 0-100 psi, so you know when the cartridges need changing.
- Pump pressure gauge: SWP 0-300 psi; normal readings fall between 120 and 200.
- Low-pressure switch: stops the motor automatically so the pump never runs dry.
- Fittings: push/pull, secured with safety locking clips.
- High-pressure tank switch: switches the RO off once the storage tank reaches a preset pressure, with no need for costly plug-and-play parts.
- 1" feed solenoid valve: automatically cuts off the incoming supply.
Upgrades for the mid-flow RO
Out of the box the system is well specified, and extra options adapt it to more specialized water treatment. Customers most often add:
- Stainless-steel rotary vane pump (also selectable under Pump): a longer life and more tolerance for corrosive antiscalants or dosing chemicals and for feed water with high TDS.
- Concentrate recycle valve: recovers more water by feeding concentrate back to the inlet.
- SWP digital dual TDS controller: one display showing permeate and feed TDS side by side, handy for keeping an eye on rejection and membrane health.
- SWP digital TDS controller: displays feed TDS or permeate TDS.
- SWP digital TDS/conductivity controller: follows permeate TDS and conductivity as a measure of system performance.
- S150 computer controller with feed flush: adds an alarm, an input for tank level, a status LED display and a lock-out during pre-treatment.
- Chemical pump outlet: powers a chemical feed pump straight from the RO unit.
- Blending valve: lets a little feed water into the permeate for a chosen TDS level.
- Permeate sample port: samples each membrane individually during maintenance or fault finding.
- 240V or 110V at 50-60 Hz: wired for your local power.

Storage tank kit
Add a storage tank kit under Configuration to collect the purified water. Crystal Quest matches tank size to output: 220 gallons for 500 to 2,500 GPD and 500 gallons for 4,000 to 7,000 GPD, with a 165 gallon tank also available.
